Authorities in Jammu said no vehicle would be allowed to move on the highway from Jammu to Srinagar on Friday. The highway was restored for one-way traffic on Thursday after it remained closed for three days. "One-way traffic will be allowed on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. Vehicles will be allowed to move from Srinagar to Jammu and no vehicle will be allowed to move from the opposite direction and the commuters are directed to travel only during the day time, " an official of the traffic department said. "This precaution has been taken keeping the safety of the travellers in mind," he added.
